On 28th January 2018, a Business Scale Up Summit for SMEs was organized by Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Alma Latifi Hall of Saboo Siddik Engineering College, Byculla, Mumbai. It was a full day Summit from 10 am in the morning till 4 pm in the evening. Businessmen from various districts across Maharashtra such as Mumbai, Pune, Ahmed Nagar, Dhulia, Akola , Latur etc. participated in this program. Mentors and Business Consulting Experts from Maharashtra and Gujarat were specially invited for this event.
Program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Mubin Ansari, President JIH. A journey of Rifah’s activities from 2015 till date was then presented by Chief Operating Officer of Rifah Mr. Salahuddin Ahmad. The first Guest Speaker of the summit, Mr. Abrar Ali Saiyed was then invited on the dais to speak on the topic How to Grow Business in Current Competition. Mr. Abrar Ali Saiyed, who is the Assistant Professor of Ahmedabad University and Visiting Faculty of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad explained the given topic to the audience in a very interesting way. He also shared some relevant case studies with the audience and interacted with them. Mr. Monis Khan, who is a Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Expert, guided the businessmen how to Scale Up their business using technology.
In Post Lunch Session, Mr. Imtiyaz Shaikh, who is an Expert in Human Resource Management, shared his views on Collaboration Team Building and Professionalism. He also conducted some Practical Exercise for the businessmen, which was appreciated a lot. Later on Mr. M.H Khatkhatey, who is the director of Rehbar Financial Consultant expressed his views on Interest free financial transactions. He also elaborated how Rifah and Rehbar are working together to curb the menace of Interest. Moving further, General Secretary of Rifah, Mr. Mirza Afzal Baig was invited on stage. Mr. Baig elaborated to the audience about the importance of Rifah and the objective of Rifah’s formation. Summit was then concluded by the vote of thanks given by Director of Rifah Mr. Abdul Salam Malik.
