Monthly Business Meet – Meeting Report

The programme commenced by with the recitation of Quran Chapters – Surah Al-Muthafafeen Aayats 1 to 3, by our youngest Executive Member Rihaan.


Introduction
A welcome address and a brief introduction to RIFAH and its objectives by our President Mr.Salahuddin


Self Introduction of all Participants
Next a self intro session of all participants was conducted , where everyone introduced themselves to others by mentioning their Name , Business category, their business nature, & referrals & business received from other Rifah members.

 

The following sessions were conducted:
Business Education –
This informative session was carried by our Senior Executive member & Treasurer Mr.Muthalib, Proprietor of Taj Cycles , in business legacy for the last 99 years,  he emphasizes on the Benefits of Income Tax-
Salary payments for Family members, as this can benefit when loans need o be raised by borrowings from family members in the form of loan or gift.
All expenses to be accounted when filing of ITR
All maintenance expenses incurred to be taken as input for GST

 

Business Presentation –
Mr.Asif our Vice President gave a Business presentation on his business – Gold Souk, a growing retail Gold Jewelers Brand , being in business for the last 7 years.
His key advantages of being in Rifah, has brought about several gold sales for many marriage occasions.
Their USP (Unique Selling Point) is Trust , Purity & Transparency
They have their own Educational Brand Ambassador, Mr.Rafiq Master – who is an Mentor, educational motivational & career counseling speaker.
Mr.Asif explains CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to us, where Firms & Institutions with a turnover of above 5 crores P.A. , have to have a positive impact on society and the environment, balancing profit-making with ethical, social, and environmental accountability –
Key Types of CSR
Environmental: Reducing carbon footprints, recycling, and using renewable energy.
Ethical: Ensuring fair and honest treatment of workers, partners, and customers.
Philanthropic: Donating money, goods, or services to community causes.
Economic: Aligning financial decisions with a commitment to do good.

He is in the business of supply of steel for the last 19 yrs,

Distributor of Magna and Priya Shakthi tmt bars for Uttar Kannada, Udupi and Mangalore District
The presentation given on Business Mindset was a very inspiring talk , which usually is not concentrated on by most businessmen.
Mindset is the hidden capital of every business.
Every Business begins twice, First in mind then in Reality.
Your mindset determines your decisions, Your decisions determine your Success.
Vision creates Industries.
Believe in yourself first.
Growth Mindset, Never stop learning .
Discipline & Resilience – Motivation fades, Discipline remains .
Purpose – Purpose Drives, Profit is important .
Finally – Soch Badlo – Sitara Badlega..

Our Vice-President & MD of Pinnacle Projects Mr. A H Sharafath, made the vote of thanks by appreciating all participants for giving their time and effort to make this meeting successful.

 

Conclusion
The Monthly Business Meet concluded with a message of progress of Rifah Chamber of Commerce & Industry by our State Vice-president Mr. Abdul Jabbar Fayaz & he also emphasized on improvement of Chapters membership by adding at least 50 new & renewals of Membership this month.

 

The program was followed by breakfast and informal networking among the participants.
Total of  announced referral business amounts for the month of July 2026 – Rs. 2,62,50,000/-
