 Micro & Small Entrepreneurs Summit 2014-Mumbra first Time in the history of Mumbra city an Summit for Micro & Small entrepreneur was held more than 200 Micro & Small Entrepreneur attended this summit the theme of the summit was “Government Scheme for Small Business”.

The Summit was Inaugrated with Recitation of Holy Quraan & its Translation By Br.Hafiz Jawwad Sb. Malik Abdulsalam (proprietor Malik Dta System ) welcome the Guest of the Program . Mr. Saif Asre (Secretary JIH Mumbra, Proprietor Asre Kitchen ) : presented the report of Interest free Micro Finance managed by JIH Mumbra .Till Now almost 1000 micro units/ unemployed person has been benefited by this Scheme By providing Rs10,000 Interest free Loan One Year. Its an Small Initiative of JIH  Mumbra to eradicate the Poverty and economic upliftment for economically weaker section of the society. JIH Mumbra is also in process to Open a branch Of Sahulat Micro Finance . Prof. V.K.Venkatachalam (Sr. Business Consultant- Micro Small & Medium Enterprises, Entrepreneur, Corporate Trainer, Mentor ): Delivered an Motivational & interactive presentation on innovative ways of starting and doing business ask the participant to take initiative to start the business, Risk-taking is an important aspect of entrepreneurial life, Entrepreneurship demands hard work, and a successful entrepreneur is he who has a strong faith in himself and in his ideas. every entrepreneur should seek to become better by innovative ways More then 80 % of MSME sector belongs to micro enterprises Prof.venkat also motivated the participants that there are ample of opportunity of export of Made in India product in abroad also asked to focus on untapped International Market Like African countries, middle east as well as china many Jugad system can be registered as patent as micro enterprise are weak in registering patent and their ideas are copied by other. To be a successful entrepreneur, you don't necessarily need to have a big business degree. But There is need to develop ability to adapt to changes, Gain business and industry knowledge, organization and management capabilities, marketing skill, innovative mindset, competitive spirit that are some important aspects of entrepreneurial life. Mr. Ziya Ul Islam (Sr. Oracle DBA): explained in detail that internet and social networking sites like facebook, Linkedin, tweeter & web portal like MSMEmart.com, alibab.com, tradeindia.com, etc can be used to grow the business in domestic as well as International Market. Mr. CA Sameer Khan (ACA, CS): has delivered the lecture on fundamentals of business taxing like VAT/CST, Service tax, Excise duty, Professional Tax, income tax & LBT and many misunderstanding of Tax has be clarified by Mr Sameer Khan. Mr. Kamal Nayak (Branch Manager NSIC Mumbai):Asked all the entrepreneurs to register their business with District industry center so that they can engoy the benefit of Government schemes , he explained explained in detail various Schemes of National Small industries corporation • Bank Credit Facilitation : To meet the credit requirements of MSME units NSIC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with various Nationalized and Private Sector Banks . Through syndication with these banks, NSIC arranges for credit support (fund or non fund based limits) from banks without any cost to MSME • Performance & Credit Rating : upto 75% discount for Performance & Credit rating of Micro ,Small & Medium Business Unit by rating agencies like AgenciesCARE, CRISIL, India Ratings,,ICRA, ONICRA NSIC-D&B-SMERA Rating BRICKWORK RATINGS (BWR) • Raw Material Assistance: Raw Material Assistance Scheme aims at helping MSEs by way of financing the purchase of Raw Material (both indigenous & imported). This gives an opportunity to MSEs to focus better on manufacturing quality products. Benefits of the Scheme Financial Assistance for procurement of Raw Material upto 90 days. MSEs helped to avail Economics of Purchases like bulk purchase; cash discount etc,NSIC takes care of all the procedures, documentation & issue of Letter of credit in case of imports. • Bill Discounting Scheme: The Scheme covers purchase / discounting of bills arising out of genuine trade transactions i.e. purchase of supplies made by small scale units to reputed Public Limited Companies / State and Central Govt. Departments / Undertakings. • Government Purchase: The units registered under Single Point Registration Scheme of NSIC are eligible to get the benefits under “Public Procurement Policy for Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) Order 2012” benifts Like Issue of the Tender Sets free of cost;Exemption from payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD),In tender participating MSEs quoting price within price band of L1+15 per cent shall also be allowed to supply a portion upto 20% of requirement by bringing down their price to L1 Price where L1 is non MSEs. • Exhibitions : NSIC organises and participates in domestic and specialized product & technology related international exhibitions to help MSMEs (erstwhile SSIs) in marketing their products and projects in both national and international arenas. 25%-75% reimbursement in booking stall in any dodestic industrial exhibition one in a financial year, • Infomediary : NSIC, realizing the needs of MSMEs, is offering Infomediary Services which is a one-stop, one-window bouquet of aids that will provide information on business, technology and finance, and also exhibit the core competence of Indian SMEs.
