Over 500 Business Leaders Unite at RIFAH National Business Conclave 2026 to Foster Collaboration, Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth

New Delhi, July 12, 2026: In a landmark initiative aimed at strengthening India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting business collaboration, the RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), in collaboration with the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), successfully organized the RIFAH National Business Conclave 2026 on Sunday at the Dr. M. A. Ansari Auditorium, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

The day-long conclave witnessed the participation of more than 500 businessmen, entrepreneurs, professionals, startup founders, industry experts, and aspiring entrepreneurs representing 18 states and 50+ business sectors, making it one of the largest networking platforms for the community. The conclave served as a unique forum for exchanging ideas, building strategic partnerships, and exploring emerging opportunities in business, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The inaugural session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Dr. Shaad Habeeb, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Jamia Millia Islamia, followed by the presentation of mementos to distinguished guests.

Welcoming the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Rihan Khan Suri, Head of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia, highlighted the importance of academia-industry collaboration in nurturing innovation and creating employment opportunities for India’s youth.

The conclave theme was introduced by Mr. S. Ameenul Hasan, Chairman of RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who outlined the Chamber’s vision of creating a nationwide platform that empowers entrepreneurs through networking, mentorship, trade opportunities, and collaborative growth.

The event was graced by several eminent personalities as Guests of Honour, including: Syed Saadatullah Hussaini, President, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Dr. Abdul Qadeer, Chairman, Shaheen Group of Institutions, and Dr. R. K. Bharti, Joint Director and Head of Office, MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Okhla, New Delhi.

The conclave also featured keynote addresses by distinguished business leaders from India and abroad.

Dr. S. Farooq, President of Himalaya Wellness Company, spoke on leadership, ethics, and innovation in building globally respected Indian brands.

Mr. Haji Kamruddin, Founder and Managing Director of Servokon Systems Limited, shared his entrepreneurial journey and encouraged young entrepreneurs to pursue manufacturing and technological innovation.

Dr. Faiz Rehman Abbasi, Global Distribution Director, Barco, Dubai, delivered a keynote session on global distribution networks and expanding Indian businesses into international markets.

The Patron’s Address was delivered by Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, Registrar of Jamia Millia Islamia, who appreciated the collaborative efforts of RIFAH and the university in promoting entrepreneurship among students and young professionals.

Following the inaugural session, delegates participated in an extensive networking session over high tea before reconvening for technical and business sessions.

One of the major attractions of the conclave was the Industry Zone Introductions, where members from different sectors introduced their businesses and explored sector-wise collaborations. The session encouraged business matchmaking and opened new avenues for partnerships among entrepreneurs from different parts of the country.

An Opportunity Sharing Session further enabled participants to discuss business prospects, resources, partnerships, and collaborative ventures available in Delhi and across India.

The conclave concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Mirza Afzal Baig, General Secretary, RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to creating a strong national network of entrepreneurs and promoting inclusive economic development.

Entrepreneur Development Program (EDP) Successfully Held in Agra

The Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry successfully organized an Entrepreneur Development Program (EDP) at Mathur Vaishya Mahasabha Bhawan, Agra, UP, with the participation of 103 attendees, including wantrepreneurs, startup aspirants, professionals, students, and freelancers.

The workshop aimed to promote ethical entrepreneurship, business networking, leadership, self-employment, and Islamic business awareness among the growing business community. The program began with inspiring reminders from the Qur’an and Hadith focusing on Halal Rizq, Tijarat in Islam, and the business ethics of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, creating a motivating atmosphere for learning and reflection.

During the workshop, participants were guided on entrepreneurial mindset development, Islamic perspectives on business and wealth, business mentorship, growth strategies, RIFAH membership opportunities, and a 7-day action and training plan. The event also featured entrepreneurial success stories, networking opportunities, and an interactive Q&A session.

The program was addressed by distinguished speakers including Dr. Khalid Zaki, Mr. Mohd Hamza (Vice President, RIFAH Delhi), Mr. Sultan Salahuddin (Delhi State President of RCCI), Mr. S. Ameenul Hasan (Chairman of RIFAH), Mr. Khalid Muhammad Khan, Mr. Faiq Aafaq, and Dr. Waqif Husain.

One of the key sessions was delivered by Mr. S. Ameenul Hasan, who spoke on business in Islam, practical entrepreneurial challenges, the importance of mentorship, and inspiring lessons from the life of Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Awf (R.A.).

Sambhal Hosts Entrepreneur Development Workshop Under RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry

An Entrepreneur Development Program (EDP) workshop was organized on 23 May 2026 in Sambhal, UP West, by the Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The full-day workshop was conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and witnessed the participation of nearly 100 men and women from Sambhal, Rampur, Moradabad, Sirsi, Bilari, and Islamnagar.

The workshop was attended by Mr. S. Aminul Hasan, Chairman of the Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who addressed aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. In his presentation, he emphasized Islamic values and prophetic business practices, highlighting the life and business principles of Hazrat Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf (R.A.). He shared practical strategies and entrepreneurial skills related to trade and industry, encouraging local youth and new entrepreneurs to adopt ethical and visionary business practices.

Mohd Hamza, Vice President of RIFAH Delhi, while speaking under the EDP initiative, stated that successful entrepreneurship requires knowledge, skills, and experience. He also interacted with participants and answered questions related to business challenges and practical difficulties faced by entrepreneurs.

Mr. Sultan Salahuddin, President of RIFAH Delhi, introduced the activities and vision of Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and explained the benefits of joining the organization. Mr. Tehseen Arve also addressed the gathering and shared his thoughts on entrepreneurship and community development.

The event was further graced by the presence of Mr. Zameer ul Hasan Khan Falahi, Ameer-e-Halqa, Hafiz Abdul Qadir, Secretary Halqa JIH UP West, along with several other RIFAH office bearers and dignitaries.
